Hi, I’m BEN SHAW

I am a middle aged dude who’s a husband, father, brother, son and uncle.  For over a decade I have worked in the railroad industry; in and out of the repair shops and inspection yards.  This work can wear on your mind and body over the years so I stay active spiritually, physically and mentally through various means to optimize vigor.

I enjoy reading and learning about different perspectives through the power of literature.  I train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu which is keen on honing  your physical and mental acumen.  Along with that I am a casual basketball player and fisherman, both requiring fortitude mentally and physically.  I stay active through various means of exercise as well, including but not limited to traditional body building, high intensity interval training and basic aerobic and calisthenic regimens.  All of these are grounded in my faith as a Christian which guides my day to day.
